1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the website www.skroofingaustin.com (the "Site") or engaging S&K Roofing Austin ("Company," "we," "us," "our") for roofing services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
2. Services
S&K Roofing Austin provides residential and commercial roofing services including installation, repair, replacement, and related work in the Austin, Texas metropolitan area. All services are subject to a separate written contract signed by both parties prior to commencement of work. No service agreement is binding until a written estimate is signed and a deposit (if required) is received.
3. Estimates & Pricing
- Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
- Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection; additional charges may apply if concealed damage is discovered during work
- Material cost changes resulting from supply chain disruptions beyond 30 days may be subject to price adjustment with written notice
- Final invoicing is based on actual completed scope of work
4. Payment Terms
- Payment terms are specified in each individual service contract
- Final payment is due upon completion of work and customer acceptance
- Invoices unpaid after 30 days are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge
- Customer is responsible for all collection costs and reasonable attorney's fees in the event of non-payment
- A valid lien waiver is provided upon receipt of final payment
5. Workmanship Warranty
S&K Roofing Austin provides a 10-year workmanship warranty on all new roof installations and a 2-year workmanship warranty on all roof repairs. This warranty covers defects in installation labor and materials application. It does not cover:
- Damage caused by subsequent storms, acts of God, or events outside our control
- Damage caused by improper maintenance, foot traffic, or unauthorized modifications
- Pre-existing structural defects not disclosed at time of estimate
- Normal wear and tear beyond the warranty period
Manufacturer material warranties are separate and subject to the respective manufacturer's terms. We assist in warranty registration at no charge.
6. Insurance Claims
When assisting with insurance claims, S&K Roofing acts as a contractor — not a public adjuster or legal representative. Texas law prohibits us from waiving or rebating your insurance deductible. Any contractor offering to waive your deductible is engaged in insurance fraud. We will not participate in such arrangements.
7. Website Use
All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, and images — is the property of S&K Roofing Austin and protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use site content for commercial purposes without express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, S&K Roofing Austin's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Travis County, Texas, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless prohibited by applicable law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any litigation shall be conducted in Travis County, Texas.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to the Site. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
